Brussels, 12 January 2026 – Classifieds Marketplaces Europe (CME) today announced the appointment of Angelica Viggiano, EU Public Affairs and Government Relations Manager  at Vinted, as Chair of CME for 2026. She succeeds Dagmar Bartels (OLX), who served as Chair throughout 2025.

As Chair, Viggiano will lead CME’s continued advocacy for online classifieds and second-hand marketplaces, with a focus on ensuring that these business models are properly reflected in EU policy discussions and recognised for their central role in advancing Europe’s circular economy.

CME brings together EU-headquartered online marketplaces that facilitate second-hand trade across Europe engaging with policymakers and stakeholders to share expertise on their economic and environmental value and to support the EU’s objectives on competitiveness, sustainability, and affordability.

Commenting on her appointment, Angelica Viggiano said:

“I am pleased to take on the chair of CME and to work closely with members across Europe. There’s a real opportunity to shape policies that genuinely work for second-hand marketplaces and boost re-commerce.”

Angelica Viggiano’s term as Chair will run from January 2026 to December 2026.
